PersonalMD.com announced e-file, a service that allows patients to fax EKG results and other medical information into secure online records. In turn, physicians in emergency rooms can access the information before patients arrive at the hospital.

To secure the information, users are issued a FaxID number and a PIN. PersonalMD.com offers two levels of service, both free. For more information, check out the Web site at www.PersonalMD.com.
