long-time advocate for patient education via the Internet.
A
graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr.
Woo-Ming completed his residency at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale,
and attained a Master of Public Health at the University of
Michigan.
A previous scholarship winner at Society of Teachers of Family
Medicine in Medical Education annual conference, he is the
contributing Medicine editor for Suite101.com, as well as
the founder of Askthedrs.com, a question and answer medical
information service.
He is currently in private practice in Escondido, California
where he lives with his wife Deborah and two children.

Dr.
McLaughlin is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing
in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.Dr. McLaughlin is a board-certified
plastic surgeon practicing in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Dr.
McLaughlin graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University,
and then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia
University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. He did his
general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at Columbia-Presbyterian
Medical Center in New York and was fellowship trained in hand
and microsurgery at the University of Utah Medical Center.
He
is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgeons (candidate), the American Society for Surgery of
the Hand (candidate), the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the
Northampton County Medical Society, and the Webster Plastic
Surgery Society.
He
has presented and published many articles on a wide range
of medical and surgical topics, and has published short stories.
Dr. McLaughlin lives in Bethlehem with his wife and two children

Beckerman has a keen interest in patient education via
the internet.
A graduate of Harvard Medical School, he
has previously explored the relationship between
apolipoprotein polymorphisms and postprandial lipemia as
a risk factor for atherosclerosis while serving as a Paul
Dudley White Fellow for International Research in
Puriscal, Costa Rica.
Dr. Beckerman is a member of the
Massachusetts Medical Society and the Society of General
Internal Medicine.
