Will advertisers or sponsors have access to the information I provide during registration?
No. PersonalMD subscribes to HON (Health on the Net) ethical guidelines, which ensure confidentiality of all health information on the Internet. No one, except you and physicians you authorize, can access the encrypted subscriber information. Under no circumstances, will PersonalMD release any of your personal information to any person or company.

What is included in a membership?
A PersonalMD Membership enables an emergency physician to access all of the information you provide in your PersonalMD file, in case of a medical emergency anywhere in the world. You can update this information any time, as often as you like, from anywhere in the world. You can even ask your physicians to fax medical records into your file to provide the most detail possible to empower emergency room physicians to respond instantaneously should you arrive in an emergency department of a hospital anywhere in the world. The information you provide in these records could save your life.

Your premier membership includes:

• Personal Medical Records where you compile all of your information in one secure location,
• PersonalMD ER Card you can give to the emergency physician in the event of a medical crisis,
• E-File which enables your physicians to fax your test results (e.g.: an EKG, or lab reports) directly into your file. Premier Members also enjoy all of the benefits available to Basic Membership.
• Medication Reminders Using an alphanumeric pager, cell phone or other wireless device, you can receive a reminder each time you are scheduled to take a medication
• Drug Database and Drug Interaction Tool The drug database enables you to learn about 98.5 percent of all retail medications. Using the drug interaction tool, you can also check medication interactions of drugs listed in your Personal Medical Record, as well as new prescriptions. This tool greatly reduces possible adverse drug reactions by alerting you to the need to ask your physician to re-evluate your medication list.
• Interactive Health Calender Medical appointments can be scheduled on this interactive tool, which sends an e-mail reminder to the member prior to the event. Information in the health calender can be integrated into the member's Personal Medical Record for increased efficiency.
• Health Resources Members can use these valuable online resources to obtain quick synopses of information about health issues and medical terms.

Can I add family information after my registration is complete?
You can add up to nine in a family membership at any time. Simply click on the "Add Family Members" space on your "my Health Manager" page and complete the requested information.

When will my registration be completed?
Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail.
