If
you have a slow Net connection and do not like
to waiting for graphics to download, you can turn
off images to get a text-only version and the
the images in pages are replaced by small icons.
In Microsoft Internet
Explorer:
1. Go to the "View" menu at the top of the window,
and choose "Internet Options."
2.
In the dialogue box, choose the "Advanced" tab,
then scroll down the list until you see "Multimedia."
3.
Look for the "Show Pictures" check box, and un-check
it.
4. Click OK.
In
Netscape:
1. From the "Edit" menu, choose "Preferences."
2. Select the "Advanced" category.
3. Deselect the "Automatically load images" item.
