Dr. Ruoss is Assistant Professor, Department
of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and
Critical Care Medicine at Stanford University
in Stanford, Calif. He graduated Phi Beta
Kappa from the University of Washington,
and earned his MD at the University of
Washington School of Medicine, Seattle,
Washington.
Dr.
Ruoss completed his postgraduate training
at the University of California, San Francisco;
the Department of Medicine, Boston VA
Medical Center, Boston, Mass.; and the
University of Connecticut Medical Center,
Farmington, Conn.
A
Diplomate of the American Board of Internal
Medicine, with additional certification
in the Subspecialty of Pulmonary Medicine,
and the Subspecialty of Critical Care
Medicine, he has received many professional
awards and honors.
Dr.
Ruoss is a member of the American Thoracic
Society and the American Lung Association
and an Editorial Board Peer Reviewer for
a number of medical and scientific publications.
He
has contributed substantially to the scientific
literature, with publishing credits in
journals including the American Journal
of Physiology, the American Journal of
Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine,
Chest and Critical Care Medicine.
