Dr. Thomas Booth is responsible for all health and medical content on the PersonalMD.com website. As Editor-in-Chief, Booth contributes original articles and manages a network of more than 50 medical professionals from around the world.

In his 11 years as a practicing primary care and emergency department physician, Booth published journal articles on prostate biophysiology and chemotherapeutic agents, among other medical topics.

Prior to joining PersonalMD.com, Booth founded Strategic Hyperlink, a medical informatics company specializing in Internet-based healthcare informatics and electronic data interchange. Booth also served as a consultant to university medical centers, including Stanford, for more than three years.

Booth earned his MD at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and practiced internal medicine in California and Louisiana. He earned an MS in chemistry and conducted doctoral research at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is licensed to practice in California, Alabama, and Louisiana.
